An intimate autobiographical documentary following Roseanne Liang and her fiancé, Stephen Harris, as they seek the blessing of her traditional Chinese parents before marrying. Funny, candid and deeply personal, the film explores love, family and cultural identity through the lens of one real-life relationship. Premiering at the New Zealand International Film Festival, the documentary played to sell-out audiences in Auckland and Wellington before going on to inspire Roseanne's debut narrative feature, My Wedding and Other Secrets.
